About The Voice Booth
A domain with a broadcast past
This address was once home to The Podcast Voice Guys, started in 2005 by voice talent Joe Klein. The company described itself as the first company to specialize in recording voice tracks for podcasts: intros, outros and voice overs. Music and voice-over sites such as Spectropop and Dial-A-Joke mentioned it.
That work came from the early days of podcasting, and it put the human voice at the center of the medium. We are grateful for it, and we want to be clear about how this site relates to it.
Who we are, and who we are not
Plainly: The Voice Booth is not The Podcast Voice Guys company. It is not affiliated with Joe Klein, does not offer his services, and does not speak for him. If you are looking for the original voice-over company, it is not here.
The Voice Booth is published by the team behind ViceForge, an AI tool that turns long videos and streams into short clips. Some of our guides mention ViceForge and link to its website where it is genuinely useful. Everything else on the site is meant to help you whether or not you ever use it.
Why voice, still
The voice is what people remember, quote and share from a show. Today a lot of that sharing happens through short vertical clips, so our guides cover two things: recording a clean voice, and turning spoken moments into clips.
How we write
- Platform rules (lengths, formats, eligibility) come only from official help pages, and we link them where we state them.
- We do not invent statistics, studies, quotes or prices. When we could not verify something, we left it out.
- Claims about ViceForge describe only what the product does today.
Start with the guides, or jump to recording a clean voice if your audio needs attention first.
